Ryan Rosenheim

Grounded, Attuned, Invested

Ryan is a Recovery Specialist at Seeking Integrity offering personalized support sessions to help lay the foundation for steady sex addiction and intimacy disorder recovery. He brings humor, empathy, and lived experience into his work, fostering a nonjudgmental space where clients are encouraged to explore their fears and preconceptions regarding what it takes to get sober.

With over 10 years in recovery, Ryan understands that healing addiction and compulsive behaviors is not about willpower alone, nor is it simply about stopping the behavior. It is about addressing trauma, building community, and expanding one’s life in order to draw the addictive behaviors out of focus. Ryan meets clients exactly where they are with compassion and respect, always leaning on their strengths, interests, and passions to help build the resilience needed to take the next steps toward sobriety.

Meet Ryan

Ryan is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) while working full-time as a therapist trainee under supervision at a non-profit clinic. For the past three years, Ryan has served in multiple roles at Seeking Integrity including Behavioral Technician, Psychoeducator, Group Facilitator, and Recovery Specialist, supporting clients throughout their inpatient recovery journeys.

Although Ryan is not a therapist at Seeking Integrity, his role is integral to the treatment process. He supports clients in processing experiences, engaging in experiential and trauma-focused work, integrating insight into daily life, and maintaining accountability within the program structure. His presence offers continuity, grounding, and relational safety as clients navigate emotionally demanding work.

Ryan understands the shame, confusion, and isolation that often accompany sex addiction and intimacy disorders. Drawing from both lived experience and professional training, he helps clients slow down, reconnect with themselves, and begin building a life rooted in honesty and connection.
