This is Part 1 (the first six weeks) of a two-part (twelve weeks total) course. To get the full benefit of this course, you will need to take both Part 1 and Part 2 (the full 12-week series).

This workgroup is right for you if one or more of the following feels true:

  • Porn is your primary (perhaps only) sexual/romantic outlet.
  • You feel uncomfortable with the label “sex addict” because you’re not being sexual with others in person.
  • You feel isolated and alone and use pornography as a way to cope with those and other uncomfortable feelings.

In this group you will:

  • Begin to learn how and why your porn use started, and how and why it escalated.
  • Create an initial plan for stepping away from porn.
  • Start to develop and implement useful tools for coping with anxiety, loneliness, boredom, shame, and other stressors.

If you complete this group, you will:

  • Develop a basic understanding of the driving forces behind your porn use.
  • Begin the process of establishing porn sobriety both short-term and long-term.
  • Start to move forward into a happier, healthier life.
  • Be ready to begin the Porn Addiction Part 2 Workgroup.

New group starts January 9, 2024.

  • Thursdays 4 p.m. Pacific, 7 p.m. Eastern
  • 6 weeks, 90-minute sessions
  • Facilitator: Scott Brassart

Participants must purchase Porn Addiction 101 and The Seeking Integrity Porn Addiction Workbook for this class.

Please Note: Seeking Integrity’s workgroups and coaching/accountability groups do not offer or include psychotherapy. In fact, these groups work best as an adjunct to professional therapy. If you need help with a mental health challenge or you need/want psychotherapy, please reach out to an appropriate licensed mental health professional.
