Somatic Awareness: Healing For Men, 8 Week Workgroup Flyer Somatic healing is a body-centered approach to emotional repair. It helps with anxiety, depression, compulsivity, and oth symptoms of trauma, shame, and addiction by focusing on the mind-body connection, rather than just verbal expression. It helps individuals release pent-up physical tension and regulate their nervous system through a variety of body-based techniques.

This course is designed male betrayed partners and for male addicts who’ve established sobriety and now wish to do deeper work navigating the deep pain of unresolved early-life trauma and its impact on body, mind, and inner-self. It is also useful for men who’ve been in recovery and find themselves struggling with relapse whenever their unhealed wounds are re-activated.
