Recent events have brought heightened focus to issues of sex, sexual harassment and pornography in society. News items about recognition by the World Health Organization of an official diagnosis for sex addiction (Compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder), the emergence of the #MeToo movement, and ongoing discussions about potentially negative effects of pornography have led society to discuss sex and sexual issues in unprecedented ways.  Colleges and universities are also also taking part in this conversation. Recently, CARP Las Vegas, a religious nonprofit organization, hosted its third-annual campus talk at UNLV to help students navigate questions about sexual intimacy through a more traditional, conservative lens.
